CABBAGES, LEEKS, CAULIFLOWER, PEPPERS, AUBERGINES, POTATO'S, ASPARAGUS, BROCCOLI, BRUSSELS, CARROTS, ONIONS AND GARLIC ALL UP AND GROWING


OPPS!!!  TOO MANY TOMATO PLANTS IN ALL 186 PLANTED OUT IN JUNE, WE HAD TO USE FLOWERBEDS AND EVERY SPARE PART OF OUR GARDEN TO ACCOMMODATE THEM, LOTS OF CHUTNEY AND TOMATO KETCHUP THIS YEAR!!!

FIRST TIME I HAVE NOT HAD TOMATO'S RIPEN ON THE VINE, SO IN HOUSE WORK NOW, AND THIS WAY I WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE 100'S OF CHUTNEYS AND TOMATO KETCHUP AND PASSATA IN BATCHES OVER FOUR WEEKS.  I LET THE TOMATO'S RIPEN NATURALLY IN TUBS UNDER SUNNY WINDOWS


FIRST CROP OF THE SEASON, WE HAD A LOVELY CHICKEN SALAD WITH BEETROOT, ONION, PEPPER AND TOMATO SALAD
